The June campout will be a joint weekend with Troops 2000 and 270 at Lake Macbride State Park’s primitive youth site located in the park’s south non-modern campground. It’s planned to be a casual weekend with paddle boarding, canoeing, and fishing. Other possible activities may include early rank advancement opportunities, campfire programs, hiking, and service/conservation time.

To get to the campsite, go Northeast out of North Liberty on Mehaffey Bridge Road. You'll go over the reservoir and then drive over Lake Macbride. Take a right on Cottage Reserve Road as soon as you're over the bridge. We'll be in the campsite in the back. If you're staying, you'll need to unload and then park down by the boat ramp. Cars can not stay at the campsite.
