Who: Scouts in Troop 2000 and Troop 270 wanting to earn the Automotive Maintenance Merit Badge
When: Saturday, February 19th, 2022, 8:30am to 3pm
Where: Kirkwood Regional Center at Oakdale, 2301 Oakdale Blvd, Coralville, IA. Please drive around the east end of the building, down the ramp, and park in the lower level area to drop off your Scouts for the day.
Other Information: Maximum registration - 16 Scouts; Preferably ages 14-17 for the relevance of driving age, younger Scouts who would be attentive are welcome too. Participants are encouraged to review the pamphlet ahead of arriving for this event. All badge requirements are planned to be completed at this event.
Please bring along: Sack lunch, snacks, water bottles, pencils, merit badge workbook, safety glasses (we have some extra safety glasses we can loan you if you don’t have your own).
*Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you do not mind getting dirty. For safety in the shop, please wear shirts with sleeves (no low-cut or bare midriff areas), long pants, and socks (no shorts).
