Climbing Campout Sept 20-22

The troop will be traveling to Baraboo, Wisconsin the weekend of September 20th (see full schedule below). We will be working on the Climbing merit badge through a 6 hour program on Saturday. Everyone should eat before departure (5pm Friday night at the church). Cost will be $95 per scout. Adults are $65 per climber and $0 for non-climbers.

This will be capped at 20 climbers, so register now. The latest you can sign up is 9/10. Meal planning and final instructions will be at the 9/15 meeting.

September 20

5:00pm Depart from FCC (make sure you've eaten or pack a meal)

8:30pm Arrive to Mirror Lake State Park, Baraboo, WI 

Set up camp (it will be dark, you may want a head lamp)

September 21

6:30am Wake-up call

7:00am Breakfast & pack sack lunches to take climbing

7:40am Leave to Devils Lake State Park, Baraboo, WI

8:00am Arrive & check in with Vertical Adventures, Devils Lake State Park, Baraboo, WI

6-hour Rock Climbing Merit Badge course 

3:00pm conclude Merit badge course

3:30pm Return to camp

4:30pm Hike 

6:00pm Scouts cook dinner

September 22

7:30am Wake-up call

8:15am Breakfast

9:15am Pack-up camp

10:15am Depart camp - drive to Dubuque, Iowa

12:15pm Lunch (bring $ for lunch), Los Aztecas Mexican Restaurant, 2700 Dodge St, Dubuque

2:00pm Depart Dubuque

3:30-4:00pm Arrive to FCC
