The Troop 2000 March trip will be to Omaha. We'll be at the Amazing Pizza Machine, Henry Doorly Zoo, Strategic Air Command Museum, Omaha Botanical Center, Sky Zone and there will be a merit badge (Reptile & Amphibian Study or Bird Study). Registration is open now.

1900 Check-in at the Henry Doorly Zoo for Sleeping Bag Safari at the Orangutan Forest (NO food allowed in the zoo)

Hubbard Orangutan Forest. Listen to the wild call of the orangutans and catch a view from the canopy level at Hubbard Orangutan Forest. The two man-made banyan trees rise 65 feet into the air allowing the orangutans and other monkeys to study visitors, the
Zoo and even downtown Omaha.

1200-1330 Brown Bag Lunch (scouts are thrifty) & explore the zoo [troop will provide a bag for each scout with a PB & J sandwich, apples, chips, juice box & cookies; which can be stored without refrigeration in the car overnight. There are several venues
for scouts to purchase additional food, if so desired, while exploring the zoo.]

Who: Troop 2000 Scouts and incoming Webelos and parents/leaders
When: March 29-31, 2018. Departure for the trip will require getting out of school early for a noon departure from the McDonalds near Kohl's. Please eat lunch before departure.
Cost: $200 for scouts and $100 adults. No refunds after deadline unless a scout takes your place.
Deadline to Register: March 15th
What to Bring: Bring clothes for a 2 night urban adventure. Bring a water bottle. Bring a rain coat. Bring cash for snacks, Sunday lunch, and souvenirs.
