Eagle Cave Trip - Jan 2019
We are going to Eagle Cave in Wisconsin from Jan 25th - Jan 27th. We will be sleeping in the cave. There are several activities and a game room. Meals are provided (we don't have to cook this time). The cost for this will be $78/youth and $68/adult. To be guaranteed a spot, you must sign up by November 12. If later than this, it will only be if there is still room (popular venue that books up by other groups).

Camp Eastman Cardboard Campout - Nov 30th - Dec 2nd
Put your camping and winter survival skills to the test. We have reserved a Heated Lodge, with dual high efficiency furnaces, two stories, and a working shower at Camp Eastman for November 30th - December 2nd. Sleep outside or in the lodge, the choice is yours. Build a sleeping shelter out of cardboard. Note: A night spent outside counts as a night of camping for Order of the Arrow, rank advancement, and Camping Merit Badge purposes. A night spent in the lodge does not count for anything. Deadline to register is Nov 25th.

OCV District Camporee Oct 26-28, 2018
The District Camporee in Riverside will have a Star Trek (STEM) theme this year. We're inviting the Webelos
from Packs 216, 275 and 2000 to join us.. So, it would
be great if we had a good sized group to host them. Come learn about Star Trek and STEM in the future birthplace of Captain James T Kirk! Scouts will be doing activities with robotics, astronomy, and more! Deadline to register is Oct 18th.

Lake Iowa - Skills Campout - Sept 28th
September 28-30th, Troop 2000 will be tent camping at Lake Iowa (near Williamsburg) and working on basic scout skills. This will be a great event for younger scouts that need to learn/demonstrate skills for advancement...and also for older boys to demonstrate leadership in teaching the skills. Registration is due 9/23 for $22 per scout.

Wisconsin Bike Ride Campout - 8/24/18
The bike ride camp out will be August 24,25,26. We will be staying at the Norwalk City Park.
The drive is approximately four hours. That Friday is an early out day for school, so we will plan to leave the church at 4 PM. Since we will be getting up there around 8pm, we will plan to stop somewhere along the way for supper the first night. Riding choice of either 25 or 50 miles will be available for Saturday. Specific costs are yet to be determined. Adults on trip are Clark Adams, Justin Williams, Rachel Kerns, and Kathy Hotsenpiller. Deadline to register is August 15th.

Lake Macbride Campout May 18-20th, 2018
The Lake Macbride Campout is coming up on May 18-20th. This will be a regular campout for all scouts as well as a Philmont Shakedown backpacking campout for the Philmont Crew. Deadline to register for regular scouts is May 13th. Deadline for Philmont Crew participants is May 6th so we can order backpacking food.

Spring Camporee in Amana
April 20-22, Troop 2000 will be tent camping at Middle Amana for the district camporee. This activity is for boys not going on the Philmont shakedown. Early registration is due 3/30 for $33 per scout (late registration taken through 4/12 for $38).

Wisconsin Submarine Overnight Trip March 23-25, 2018
The Troop 2000 March trip will be to Manitowoc, Wisconsin to visit the Wisconsin Maritime Museum and to spend the night aboard the US Cobia Submarine. The US Cobia is the nation's most completely restored WWII Submarine. The troop will also take a tour of Lambeau Field in Green Bay, the National Railroad Museum in Green Bay and the Henry Vilas Zoo in Madison, Wisconsin. Registration is open now.
